We would like to dedicate Alles Neu (Everything New) to all those who are struggling with anxiety, depression and all forms of it, not only in the current depressing times, but also beyond. “Everything New” stands symbolically for being able to reinvent oneself, if one has the strength to do so, in order to end such a phase with a fresh start. “Alles Neu”, however, shows just as much the merciless, hard and cold side of this clinical picture and how difficult it can be to find a way out of depression. For some, it may even be a seemingly never-ending path, because severe forms of depression in particular are not something you simply put down like old shoes.
