Peak Inc. – Asset Flip

In winter of 2015 Felix Kießig (vocals), André Schneider (guitar), Till Harck (bass until 2016) meet for the first time and found the nu metal band Peak Inc. Since 2021 Hannes Blaßfeld takes over the part on the drums. Daniel Weinhold is the new man on the bass since 2017. Leaning on the great heroes of the genre, the band represent their preferred genre entirely according to the motto: Nu Metal is dead, long live the Nu Metal!.

In 2018, their EP Pastify was released and already showed that they mean it business. The five songs currently reach a good count of 21k streams on Spotify, allowing them to share the stage with the likes of Dog Eat Dog and In Extremo. They deliver a first taste of the EP Asset Flip with Bring it Back. The song is already reaching 10K streams on Spotify and heralds an EP reminiscent of the good old days of Limp, Papa and LP.

Rising Insane – Afterglow

On 10.12 the metalcore band Rising Insane from Bremen releases their third album. An album that deals with the dark abysses, but does not lose sight of the moments of hope. Rising Insane have already been making a name for themselves as the metalcore through-starters since their formation in 2012, and with Afterglow they provide proof why this is the case.

The Great Leslie – ANNA

With Anna, The Great Leslie has created another unique track that leaves you wanting more. Formed during the pandemic, the new single is now already the seventh single by Ollie Trevers (vocals/guitar), Julien Baraness (guitar), Jason Boyd (bass) and Ryan Lavender (drums). Already after a short time a development becomes apparent. A development towards a magnificent and increasingly complex sound. With Anna they release probably their hardest song so far, frontman Ollie tells us.

The Great Leslie already have over 133K YouTube views and over 93K Spotify streams under their belt, they continue to show that they are one of the bands making their way in the indie rock world. Anna is closing out the year with a bang!

Hafensaengers – Dunkelfarben

Big C determines the time, but that is only one part that throws the Hamburg punk band Haefensangers out of concept.

At the end of 2019, the booked studio time had to be canceled. Corona appears on the scene and the first wave of attack of the virus hits Germany. But that was not enough. Only a few months later, singer and guitarist Thomas was diagnosed with kidney failure. Thanks to emergency surgery and dialysis, which washed his blood for about five hours every two days, Thomas managed to regain his strength. Together they used the strong days to devote themselves to songwriting. The result is, according to the band, the most personal and honest songs they have ever written. And indeed, you can hear a lot of profoundness in the songs Altes Herz and Gewinner. Thanks to a donor kidney, Thomas has found the hope and strength to start again as a two-man combo together with Max (drums). Dunkelfarben is the name of the new single release and hints at an exciting “wanderlust punk”- album.

DEVIL MAY CARE – Divine Tragedy

The Würzburg-based post-hardcore band Divine Tragedy will release a 13-song long player on November 5. Fans of Bring Me The Horizon, Architects and Polaris will get their money’s worth. With the likes of Like Pacific, Rising Insane, Venues and Sperling, the record gets a feature-credit list of the finest.

Thematically, they deal with various ways of human self-destruction. The environmentally conscious Würzburgers do not pay lip service here, but also actively engage. Together with the organizations Krake, Sea Shepherd and Cleanup.Hannover they call for a joint Beach Clean-Up.
